Hey, we can all rest easy. The president has announced through his teleconference call with reporters

that we are not going to be in a recession.

Wow, I feel so good. What a relief.

Remember back in the day, you would hear the president of the United States tell the American people something and we'd believe it?

You'd be like, okay, hey, there's a little dose of honesty. They're not always right.

It's not deceptive. It's not

marketing. It's not messaging. It's not altering our comms, our communications department.

We're not messaging to the American people properly. What in the world is going on?

And why would Joe Biden state publicly in some sort of lockdown mode on a Zoom call with

reporters on Monday afternoon that we are not going to be a intercession?

Because by so many metrics and definitions since World War II, we're already in a recession.

In fact, one economist spoke out on this on

Monday and showed a chart, put it on Twitter and put it out there that said the 10 times in a row

that we have had two quarters in a row where the GDP has dropped since World War II, of the

10 times that's happened, 10 times we've been in a recession.

Now, as I said on Monday's podcast, maybe the word recession is just thought of in a worse way than

maybe it should. Some of this is quite natural coming out of COVID. We went crazy. We bought a bunch

of stuff. People saved up money.

Bought cars, big ticket items, appliances, televisions, big things, remodeled, bought houses.

Housing went through the roof.
