Joe, I think we got to start today with the new economic numbers.

What do you make of them?

This is not a referendum on today's GDP numbers or last week's jobs numbers. We have to make that and that's what the pundits and the hand wringers and everybody out there are going to do and by the way it's what Trump and the Republican, you know, McConnell, all of them want. They want it to be a referendum

on those kinds of numbers and hope that those numbers stay bad and do anything they can to, you know, obstruct and worsen them so that they can win in November. And that's why I think we have to, the Biden administration, Democrats, pro-democracy, folks out there,

regardless of party, we have to make this a choice. and that's what it really is.

There's one party doing everything it can to get us through this time
