Hello and welcome to another edition of the Byron York Show, the no-chit-chat podcast.

We'd like to get right into it and what we're going to get into today is Biden's border

delusion, as evidenced by his state of the Union speech.

Now, before the present, gave his state of the Union address his very first one.

There was some speculation about whether he would mention the mess that he has created

on the US-Mexico border or whether he would simply pretend that it did not exist.

Obviously, he was going to talk a lot about Ukraine.

Obviously, he was going to talk a lot about trying to restart his agenda.

He didn't use the three words build back better, but he's trying to restart some of that

in Congress.

So we knew he was going to say that kind of stuff.

But there was this speculation, I was part of it, about whether he would actually mention

what is going on in the border, and specifically the mess that he created on the border or

whether he would just pretend that it didn't exist.

As it turned out, he did both.

He did mention the border, and then he pretended that the mess did not exist.

So Biden did not give this prominent placement in the speech.

Speech went, oh, I think an hour and two minutes.

He got to the border nearly 50 minutes into it, so it was clearly not a headline for

the speech.

He had just made a pitch for confirming his Supreme Court nominee, Katangi Brown, Jackson.

And from there, he segwayed into the border and wants to link everything together.
