You relive our history by looking at these sites if you take the time to stop and think about it.

Well, this was a wholesale conversion of one of the most interesting and complex

landscapes in the world into an industrial pulpwood forest with one species in it.

The Forest Service has to take all that and weigh it together and you know come up with a plan that benefits the community as a whole and so that's been a great asset I I think, to the Bank of National Forest.

You walk around in the Sipse wilderness and the Bank of National Forest in the Wintertime

and you're just surrounded by green.

It's just green mosses, green ferns, the

hemlocks, the hollies. It's just a wonderland. This is Hal Herring with

although I never stomped around it as much as I wanted to. We've got the Sipsy Wilderness here and a lot of good public hunting, a lot of good public lands advocates and I'm sort of

struggles for wild lands and conservation wild places in Alabama.
