I'm Jenny Faulkner and one of the things I love so much about running is the freedom it allows

you to explore new areas.

I actually often book holidays based on places I fancy running.

Obviously my family have realised this now after years of turning up at our resort

and we are conveniently next to a dream running route they did cotton on eventually.

And by the way, it doesn't have to be anything necessarily tricky or complex,

just beautiful locations where every day whilst you're there,

you can get out and know there

are places to run, sites to see, adventures to be had. It's one of the joys of running, visiting

somewhere new and exploring, or likewise, seeing new parts of the country, or switching up the commute

or the train for at least part of the journey on foot.

You miss so much when you're in the car or on the bus.

When you're running, your senses are heightened.

You see, here, smell so much more,

and you can also stop whenever you want to soak up the atmosphere or catch your breath. My running adventures have taken me right around Britain and overseas from

Eastbourne to East Lothian, Tyree to Torquay and Cape Town to Cape Rath. And in the coming
