Why hello, you know, a trauma from my childhood keeps coming up for me lately.

Every few years it just comes back to me, and it's a trauma from my childhood, but what

you don't realize or what I didn't, I didn't think of it as a trauma when I was a kid

because it just happened and then it was over and I just didn't, I didn't think about

it again for like, for years, for like 20 years, just, you know, just like I always say

I was like, there was no music telling me this was a traumatic moment, it wasn't like

in slow motion, it was just like this moment and then the next moment and then the next

moment.

But I haven't, you know, I was like, God, I need to talk to my therapist about this, but

I haven't been to therapy since June because I don't know, I just feel like I can't talk

to him.

I don't know, so I feel kind of therapistless right now.

So I just figured I'd talk about it here because you know, I don't know, Mr. Roger says

if it's mentionable, it's manageable and I figure y'all could call in with your insights

and shit and get a little therapy here.

So this is the story, okay, you know, listen, I was 13.

I went to visit my sister Laura at Berkeley in Berkeley, California, she was at summer school

at UC Berkeley and I was 13, I was, I was teeny, teeny tiny for my age when I was 13,

you know, like one of those like real weird little kids and I had never flown by myself

before and, you know, normally I'd be extra scared because I was a bed wetter.

But you know, I slept every night in bed with my sister Laura and so I wasn't scared

because you know, she has to love me.
