This case takes us to the picturesque beach town of Rancho Pellos Verde, California,

which is about 30 miles south of Los Angeles. Often referred to as RPV,

the poshtown is located on top of the bluffs of the Pellos Verde's peninsula,

offering amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island.

According to Nitch.com, for the best suburbs in which to live, RPV was ranked number 18 out of 116.

Multi-million dollar estates are plentiful in RPV and the median household income is well above the

national average. Lead singer of the band Lincoln Park, Chester Bennington, now deceased once

lived in RPV. In a town where crime rates are low, school ratings are high, and surfboards are

often seen on top of vehicles, Murder is a very rare occurrence. On the afternoon of November 8th,

2000, however, a 911 call would lead to a shocking scene. The details surrounding the victim's death

would take a while to unravel, but when they finally did, the truth about what happened would

On the afternoon of November 8th, 2000, a call came into the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department,

a man reported that his daughter had fallen off of a cliff.

The caller was 38-year-old Cameron Brown. Brown reported to the 911 operator that his daughter had fallen

off of a cliff near a nude beach below inspiration point in Rancho Pellas-Ferdes.
