0:15.2 | I'm your host, Malcolm Reed, and joined by my lovely, talented wife, Miss Southern Shell, fresh off vacation. |
0:37.7 | We got Tyler with us today. How's everybody doing? Good, good. Glad to be back. Glad to be back. What did we miss two weeks? Yeah. We were only supposed to miss one, but we got stranded in Miami for a couple days. We got delayed there. Do you tell you, I don't, did they actually call that a tropical depression or what was it? |
0:38.9 | I don't know. |
0:42.2 | I watched the news and it was just copious amounts of rain. |
0:42.5 | Yeah. |
0:43.2 | And wind. |
0:46.7 | It was enough to flood southern Florida. |
0:47.8 | I know. |
0:52.6 | They called it when we were there, it's like the governor announced a state of emergency or whatever declared a state of emergency and they weren't flying planes and they weren't letting people drive because the interstates were flooded. When you told me that, I wanted to cry. We're never getting out of Florida. All you want to do is get home. You know, we only have so many days we can take off and then it just messes everything up. We finally got out of there on like a, I don't even call that a red eye. What is it? What do you call it when the plane takes off at like 2 a.m. And we get home about 4 a.m. It wasn't a far flight. It's like two hours, 40 minutes. Yeah. I know. I'll never fly through Miami again. Not direct to Memphis. Yeah. That is not a route that I suggest anybody take. They only fly once a day and it's like normally at 10.52 p.m. And there's no driving. No, I, I, I, I don't, you know, at the hotel, we finally found a hotel and it did have a Hertz rental car right there at it. I was like, well, we can rent a car and make it to Atlanta and then we can either |
1:46.6 | drive or fly from there or whatever. |
1:49.2 | I was looking at how long it would take us to drive. |
1:51.5 | And then all the routes that I was looking at, they were like shut down. |
1:55.6 | And it's like 16 hours anyway. |
1:57.5 | It was going to be crazy. |
1:58.3 | Yeah. |
1:59.8 | Anyway, so we're back. |
2:01.7 | We did watch lizards from the hotel. I had like signs up, don't feed the iguanas down there. And we got excited. We were like, ooh, iguanas. Yeah. And Michael spotted one like from our hotel. He's like, I think that's one down there on that log. So y'all went down there and snuck up on it. And we went down and walked and saw all kinds of iguanists. |
1:59.8 | They're everywhere. |
2:00.5 | They were little, though. |
