Before we reintroduce you guys to Oliver's family, I just wanted to read a DM about Bert's Big Adventure that I got over the weekend.

And it goes like this.

It says, I must say these are the stories that make you laugh, cry, and smile.

And I think she might have sent this right after the Thursday show.

Thank you for all you do for

these families. The juicy gossip is fun to listen to most mornings, but this in capital letters

is what it's all about. When we look at the politics in the world and all the craziness, these

moments put it all in perspective. You're demonstrating here that we can be the change, the change in our

circle, the change in our circle, and pray that the ripples flow into the communities and people

around us. Eventually, we will change the world. We're not here to change the world, but in just a

I'm getting too wrapped up in social media and news now. And this trip, of course, is for these kids and these families, but man, I didn't

realize how much I needed this trip this year, because you just see that there are still

moments that are 100% absolutely pure, you know, when you see the love of like KJ's dad hugging

him and kissing him.

The love between parents and kids is pure.

When you're seeing kids ride a roller coaster and the excitement that they have riding a roller coaster for the very first time

or making new friends and their illnesses don't count, I needed to see this kind of pureness, and it's out there, man.

That's why we took the trip.

We didn't do the trip for the families or the kids this year.
