What's Burts Big Adventure?

Bird's Big Adventure is the trip we take down to Disney World every year

with kids that haven't been feeling so great.

And I purposely on this day here don't really talk about why they're not feeling that great

because that's not what the trip is about at this point, right?

It's really kind of about us all spending five days in the park, all hanging out together and making these beautiful, beautiful memories with each other.

And this is a really good example this morning. You know how we say that there's no such thing as a routine or a schedule in a special needs family or when you've got a family that has

a sick child in it, you tend to forget that when there are other siblings, that they

get sick also.

So we're bringing Bella on this morning and her mom is Priscilla, dad is Joseph.

You got Levi, you got Vivian, and you

got Raylan also. And mom's not here. And I'm like, what's going on? Where's Priscilla? And

Levi, the three-year-old, has a fever this morning. And it's just another one of these examples

of how, like, sometimes the siblings, not are not overlooked, but when you're looking at a family like this,

and you can't even tell Bella has gone through anything because she's so beautiful,

but on a day-to-day, the reality of it is he got siblings and brothers and sisters that can get sick also.

Yeah, so life keeps lifing.

Like the world doesn't stop when you hear the words, you know, cancer, your kid has leukemia.

Your other kids are going to have trials and tribulations and you are going to have to still
