You're on the virtue.

All right, so real talk here for a second, you guys.

I don't want to drag the show down or anything, but I'm going to.

So I was telling these guys yesterday, I told them earlier in the show that going up to

New York City this weekend to visit my mom.

Now for those of you that are new virtual listeners, that doesn't seem like a big deal.

My mom broke up with my family a very, very long time ago, super toxic relationship, exhausting,

you know, a narcissist, you know, let's try to explain it.

I don't want to rip on it because she is my mom, but it's been a very fractured relationship,

very fractured.

She has dimension now and she has been moved from one facility to the other.

So I've had this struggle for years with my mom and I told these guys, I talked to her

this week and it's really, really difficult to communicate this to families that can't

understand the pain of the dysfunction of a family, but I am very apathetic towards

my mom.

She's caused a lot of pain in my life, my brother's lives also.

So I have distanced myself emotionally from her.

So I have made the decision this week after calling her and just checking up on her in a

new place that she isn't so much pain and she is so confused right now that I have decided

to take the tack that I'm just going to do what the right thing is enough the thing I

want to like screw my feelings right now.

I'm going to be fine.
