the 50 shades of gray trilogy.

So in this interview, she said that the author of the book, Eel James, had creative control

and could be demanding.

She often insisted on things that wouldn't work in the movie like a character's intermonologue,

so she said it was always a battle when they were on set that they'd have to do multiple

takes, both the version, the author wanted to do and then what they wanted to do.

And she said, if I had known at the time, that's what it was going to be like.
