So I want to know why do I want this in my soil? What's it actually going to do for my soil and thus do for my plants.

And so that's what we're talking about with Matt today.

how that actually matters for, let's say, the home gardener,

someone like me or someone listening to the cast?

Yeah, yeah. So I'm going to jump into this three ways, because this is something that we're really interested in right now.

So when we think about what's beneficial for the soil and for the garden,

being a scientist, we always break that into the We'll start off with the physical algae along with along with your the fungus and the bacteria

I'll decompose rock they're gonna help to prevent and they do that decomposition of the rock by getting in there and actually

wanting those minerals in the rocks they can actually help to free up the minerals

for themselves and then in doing so when they die they pass that on to other plants

right they're going to be able to really prevent erosion
