I'm your host, Corey Muscarra, and in today's podcast, we're going to talk about wholeness and integrating more parts of yourself.

More to come on that in a moment, but first, let's tune in and settle in with the sound of the bells. Okay, so in this episode I want to talk about wholeness.

I'm a firm believer that the deepest kind of happiness and fulfillment we can experience

comes when we've integrated the many dimensions of who we are.

I've alluded to these dimensions in different ways.

I sometimes refer to them as parts or aspects of ourselves.

These include all the different thoughts we could have,

the different emotions that might arise,

sensations, our shadow parts, so the aspects of ourselves that maybe we've

disowned or cast into the shadows that we don't feel others would respect or appreciate or accept.

We have many dimensions to our humanness and this makes being human very complicated

because we end up having to pick and choose what parts of us we share with others that we feel safe to express.

And a lifetime of experiences and learnings will often inform how that

compartmentalization happens and how that choosing of which parts get honored and which parts get suppressed happens.

The reason I believe wholeness is the key to fulfillment is that you can have all the wonderful things that you want.

You can have material wealth.

You can live in a great place,

you can have the job you love,

you can be in the relationship that you've most long for and have the family that you want

but if you haven't made peace with the fullness of who you are there will always be some disconnection from yourself and a subconscious tension

that is keeping a part of you drowning.
