on your life.

More to come on that in a moment, but first, let's settle in with the sound of the bells. So, So if you read my book, Stop Missing Your Life, you know that in one of the first pages there's a quote and it says sit feast on your life.

Well this is actually from a poem called Love After Love by Derek Walcott, which I'm going to read to you. So as I read it, let the words land for you, however they need

to land to move through you with poetry, or at least when I listen to poetry, I'm not so much trying to understand it, but

more feel it.

So how did these words, how did the way this poet communicated this poem or wrote this poem

How might it be landing for me at this time in my life and that's usually a felt sense sort of thing.

Okay, that sounded like some mumbo jumbo.

Hopefully it made some sense to you. So I'll read the poem, you listen, just see how you receive it.

The time will come when with elation you will greet yourself arriving at your own door in your own mirror and each

will smile at the others welcome and say, sit here, eat.

You will love again the stranger who was yourself.

Give wine, give bread, give back your heart to itself.

To the stranger who has loved you all your life,

whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart.

Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,

peel your own image from the mirror.

Sit, feast on your life.
