I think what a lot of people miss is we're looking for the fast way, the easy way, the you

know, quickest, fastest hack to get to success.

I think about time with Kobe Bryant years ago inside the gym and I was blessed to just

stumbled into the gym with the same trainer, his trainer and him and myself and my trainer

and inside the gym doing our thing and what I respected and admired so much about him

and the time we got to just connect being dads with kids at the same school was he never

looked for the hack.

He was always willing to do the work.

He was always willing to go the extra mile, all the things that we know make that extraordinary

athlete extraordinary and not just in athletics but in everything else he pursued in his career.
