Good morning, Dad. How are you doing?

I'm doing great. How are you doing today? I'm doing well. We're going to jump into 2 Corinthians 12-9.

But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness so that Christ's power may rest on me.

What a powerful, powerful verse.

It's almost one of those verses you have to let's sit for a minute.

He's quoting Jesus, my grace is sufficient for you.

For my power is made perfect and weakness.

And there's two, I think, really important dynamics here.

One is that our weaknesses do not limit God, but give God the opportunity to show his strength and his greatness.

And I love the way that Paul applies this. He is therefore, because this is God's posture,

that he will make his power perfect in our weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly

in my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.

What a beautiful kind of visual description.

That Christ's power rests on our weaknesses.

And, you know, I think a lot of times we convince ourselves that Christ's power would rest on our strengths.

And that God needs us to be perfect, to have it all together,

to, you know, to hit all the checklists, and then we can experience the power of God.

But Paul gives us a great reminder, first of all, that our weaknesses are not a limitation for

God's greatness. But I also think there's a flip side.

Sometimes people have misunderstood this verse and have said,
