When you meet a swordsman, draw your sword. When you meet a swordsman, draw your sword. Do not

recite poetry to one who is not a poet. This was very

powerful to me when I read it because right now, you know, in life, I mean, I'm not sure for you,

but whether you're a sport, business, coronavirus has really done a number on a lot of areas of life for a lot of us, myself included.

It's been a challenge, very, very challenging in a lot of different ways.

And the reality is that when life presents you a certain obstacle, we have the tendency to

approach that obstacle with a tool that we have no business trying to solve this

problem with. And maybe this tool helped us in some other problem that was more appropriate

or fitting. But right now, life is not asking you to recite poetry to it. Life is not interested

in your poetry. So Thomas

Cleary is saying, do not recite poetry the one who is not a poet. Right now, you have been

met with the swordsmen, so draw your sword. And what this means for me and what I'm telling

you to do is identify what swords you're going to use

to approach the current challenges and obstacles that you have in your way right now. Because in a lot of

ways, a lot of what you're seeing is unprecedented. Business models are changing. School is changing. If you're, if you are a parent

of children right now, you are having to really, really, uh, totally switch up the way you do things.

There are some parents right now who are principals, teachers, tutors, babysitters, still moms, still dads, and a whole lot of other things too.

Got jobs working from home, all of that.

But this is a whole new set of problems.

If you're an athlete, you can't even train the way that you want.
