How is everybody doing?

I know things are pretty crazy right now and incredibly

disheartening and frustrating. So

it would be impossible to do this if I didn't start with just acknowledging how upsetting it is

to watch what's happening in our country and what we've allowed.

To continue, I don't know about you guys but watching President Trump tear-gas

peaceful protesters so that he could take a picture with a Bible in front of a church,

not go in, not pray.

Just take a photo with a Bible after tear-gassing people who are just protesting the right to live

their life not in fear of being murdered is truly horrifying and very upsetting and I don't know about you guys but I too would want to light things on fire but people always say don't get political don't get

political and ironically the people who say don't get political are always the

ones who are most uncomfortable with hearing about what other people have to live through and what their experience is like.

I think we all need to be political. I don't think this is an American issue. I think seeing different countries

from around the world speak up with us and get mad is hopeful.

I do think change is possible, but I do think it starts with people in positions of privilege.

So I don't know what to do. I don't know how to help, but I am

starting with myself and you know there's lots of literature out there, there's lots of

podcasts out there, there's lots of people out there who are

leading people helping them unlearn. So just like how you can't run a marathon on

day one if you think about running a marathon on day one,

you won't just think it's impossible

and you won't even want to try.
