is reminding the world that this pandemic isn't over. The Omicron variant has put nations across the globe

on high alert. 13 new cases now being confirmed in the Netherlands this morning. That spike is connected to two flights

that came in from South Africa on Friday, and that's in addition to detections in Italy, Austria,

Belgium, Germany, Australia, Israel, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and of course South Africa,

where the variant was first identified on Thursday. The Czech Republic is investigating suspected cases now,

and starting tomorrow, the United States will join a number of other nations in restricting

travel for non-citizens coming from several countries in southern Africa, including
