One week after Brooks'Halk was arrested for the murder of his girlfriend, Crystal

Rogers, the Nelson County Courthouse was buzzing.

The newly accused killer was expected to be arraigned on the charges and his team of attorneys plan to request his bond be lowered from 10 million down to $500,000.

About an hour before the doors open to the courtroom,

we found Crystal's grandparents waiting in the lobby area.
