Welcome back to another Dear Shandy Bachelor recap listeners.

Hello, Andy. Hello. How are you today? I'm good. It's an exciting time. Yes. We are in Vancouver for anyone who is seeing us and they're like, where are you? What is this weird stuff? So this is one of the weirder setups. Can I just say? This is weird. This ranks up there. We've got a good view. You can't really appreciate it from here. But we have a view of Stanley Park. It's really nice. We're in Vancouver. And we came here on a moment's notice because they asked

me to possibly jump in for their soprano in Vancouver Opera's production of flight on opening night

because I know the role. No big deal. And I had pretty light rehearsals in Vancouver in Seattle, so I got a leave of absence to come. But it didn't happen. I was rehearsed and everything, but she felt well enough to go on, which is a good thing. I shouldn't sound disappointed. But you know, like when you, there's a lot of hype, a lot of you're on standby. You're sort of like, am I going to go on and am I going to go on?

Is she able to do it? But she was, which is good. Yes. So we came here for nothing. So anyway, that's why we're in Vancouver, but we'll be back in Seattle next time. Shall we get going? Oh, we have a couple more things to talk about in housekeeping today, actually.

So, two things, right?

Two things.

One is reviews. And it's kind of like connected to the

other thing, which we want to talk about, which is ads before we get going. So this is a reminder that if

you like dear Shandy, don't be one of of those silent luthers who just listens and doesn't

leave reviews because i think that what happens with reviews is you know you can go to the yelp of any

restaurant and see only five stars and only one stars right because usually people have to either

love it or hate it to leave a review it's amazing that people will leave three stars stars. I know. It's like, really? Andy has a big beef with three star reviews. Commit. Commit. But yeah, if you're a shandy, if you identify as a shandy, if you tune in week after week and you enjoy what you listen to, you have no idea how helpful it is for us as a podcast to receive five-star reviews. It's like I wish it didn't matter as much as well as you're so true. But it really, really does matter. It helps us grow. It helps with our visibility. It's just it helps us be around basically, like be around longer. If you want your shandy to exist for as long as possible, then you can help us by legal five-starved. That sounds like blackmail. What's right.
