and today I'm really pleased because we have a special guest, Noel Meering, who is the author of this remarkable book,

Awake, Not Woke, a Christian response to the call to progressive ideology.

So I am on the Leadership Advisory Board of the University, and so we have a meeting tomorrow we're

going to see Jordan Peterson while we're here and recording this podcast with you and

then we are doing a Ewten or Franciscan University presents so for Ewten that's

a busy few days. Wednesday morning.

Well, thank you for coming out and also thank you for writing this book.

First question, simply, why did you write it?

Yeah, you know, I've been writing about the woke movement for a few years and the thing that was most

interesting to me is that I'd always been fascinated by how Christians work out, you know, issues of justice and morality and how that intersects with law and politics.

But it seemed like there was a shift that was starting to happen over the last decade where

a lot of Christians I knew had started
