We're currently preparing a new season of Road to Amayas

today we're rolling out an old one.

This is the fifth and final talk in the series, answering common objections which I did years

ago.

This is a series that a number of people have been asking for ever since we started the Rodeo Mayas

podcast. As I said these talks were recorded over 20 years ago. The series

addresses some of the biggest issues that come up for Protestants who are looking at the Catholic faith.

Things like Mary, the Saints, the Pope, the Eucharist, and purgatory.

Several of these talks would develop in later years into some of my most popular books.

The middle section of my book, Reasons to Believe in Fact, is inspired by this series.

On today's episode I talk about the doctrine of purgatory, that holy fire that finishes the job of making us holy.

Baring as it does on the very nature of the salvation that Christ came to bring us. This doctrine was one that I really wrestled with.
