Canada, Mark Carney, the non-politician, central banker, is pulled ahead in the polling. The Australian election is less well known to me, but Anthony Albanese is running up against severe headwinds because of the cost of living in Australia.

Right now, my concern is chiefly for Canada, and we'll talk of that in a moment.

But where is the Albanese election campaign?

The election is going to be held, I believe, the first of May, early in May.

Yeah, May 3rd. Yes. Well, it's interesting because Albanese has comprehensively seen to have

failed in reducing the cost of living. In fact, the cost of living has gone up astronomically.

I mean, we're seeing, for example, references now in the U.S. about how the cost of living in the U.S.

rose under the Biden administration.

Well, it rose as much or more for Australians under the Albanese government over the past three years.
