An idea born in 2021.

Here we are in an interregnum with a new administration on the horizon.

The August's idea of 2021, is that going forward or is that to be retired as a Biden idea?

I welcome Henry Sikolsky of the Non-Proliferation Policy Education Center. He's the executive director

to observe these three nations, plus others that have been mentioned in these years, France, Japan, South Korea,

because all of them have surprising challenges now that did not exist in 2021. What is to be done?

Henry, a very good evening to you. I begin with the most obvious, Australia. The Albanese government

was not in place in 2021.

It now is, and it's troubled by the economy,

chiefly having to do with how China has bought natural resources from Australia for many years,

but that is slowed to not clear what the future is.

But the Albanese government would be critical to a

successive pillar one, which has to do with staging either a submarine from the U.S.

or a submarine built in Australia from Perth over the Indian Ocean.

What is the status of O August in Australia right now?
