You should know something in case you're a parent someday.

What happens is your kids will act all attached to you and then they want to leave.

Which is really something. Right. I mean, I'm a

small town kid myself, growing up in the Midwest. My daughter is fixing to leave now for New York

City to go to college. Mm-hmm. And a week. And a lot of preparation has gone into that.

And I think I'm going to go ahead.

This is kind of a big decision,

but I think I'm going to go ahead and cancel it.

Okay.

Well, what's your reasoning?

I don't know.

I just don't want it.

I don't think she emotionally can handle the separation.

I think she has, I don't know, I just, she masks it under a veneer of excitement about her future.

Yeah, because I sat down and talked with her and she's really excited and eager to go.

She seems that way, but deep down I think she's going to miss ice cream with her dad every night.

Now, I believe that. I believe she will, Not to the extent that you should cancel her trip, but I think she will miss that. I can't cancel college, and I think she needs to not have relief. I think that's the plan. Well, I know it took a lot of time to come to that decision, so. I'm not going the McDonald's for ice cream coming by myself am i
