What's up, how's it going out there in the world wherever you are?

Walking your dog, tending to the garden, sipping some coffee, maybe sipping some tea,

maybe some water if you're just not a caffeine person.

I know I could probably stand to be more like you

if you are one of those water sippers out there.

All right, today we're gonna talk about heated bird baths.

This is kind of a random one I know.

But I figured as I've been trying to develop

more wildlife activity in my own garden,

I think it's important to talk about some of the ways

that we can do that.

And so why would we want a heated bird bath?

Does that seem sort of boogie?

Does that seem kind of luxury?

Are we giving our birds a spa treatment? It sounds a little

silly. I got to be honest. However, it can be a pretty good investment. So

birds are some of our best pest killers.

They can be a little annoying, especially with fruit trees.

But a lot of the time, they're happily picking off caterpillars from plants.

They're demolishing beetle populations. And so birds are an essential part of the soil food web.

They are a part of the natural ecosystem and they are in fact some of the last things to come back to areas

that are a bit desertified or a bit just depleted of all of that life.
