So this is not a hospital.

This is not even a company that has health data per se, like personal data.

This is a company that makes equipment for hospitals, for clinics, things like that.

Stryker's intra-log-in page was also defaced.

A striker employee told bleeping computer that devices in the company's mobile device management system were remotely erased

Wednesday morning. Staff were instructed to remove corporate management and applications from their

personal devices, including the Intune company portal, teams, and VPN clients. Strikers working to

restore systems. The Irish Mirror reports that staff in Cork were told in a message we are experiencing

a severe global disruption impacting all Stryker laptops and systems that connect to our network.

And a message to employees in Asia said the root cause has not yet been identified. We are

actively engaged with Microsoft and treating this as a critical enterprise-wide incident.

Stryker also filed Form 8K with the SEC. That's the one that they have to file to say,

hey, we've had a material breach. In that filing, it said on March 11, 26, Striker Corporation

identified a cybersecurity incident affecting a certain information technology

systems of the company that resulted in a global disruption to the company's Microsoft

environment.

Company has no indication of ransomware or malware and believes the incident is contained.

They don't have a timeline for when things are going to be restored.
