Four months, almost to the day since the October massacre and the beginning of the war between

Israel and Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu saying total victory is within reach,

while the country is torn over a hostage deal, the Hamas essentially shot down with its response

I was just about to explain it. It's unholy, two Jews on the news, and yes, I'm in Delhi.

But the sigh speaks volumes.

It was a sign, a bit of a rolling of the eyes.

It's just frequent flyer, Friedland, has been in New Hampshire

and in Delhi in the past three weeks while I have been sitting in my house in Tel Aviv.

So just a little bit of, you know, you don't have to show off so much is what I'm saying.

Yeah. You are quite right. Normally, I am much more of a sort of homebird than this,

but the last few weeks

have seen a lot of travel. New Hampshire was obviously on journalistic duty covering the Republican

primary. This time in India, in a different capacity, wearing a different hat, not as a journalist

or reporter. Instead, my visa was granted to be a visiting author at the Jaipur Literary Festival,

which is a phenomenon.
