Summary

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!

This week Pip is flying solo to answer a flurry of questions from YOU, the listeners and viewers!

In keeping with Distraction Pieces tradition, Pip likes to have a week to himself from time to time and here we are, deep in mid-February, to open up the mailbag. Even saying 'mailbag' is such a nostalgia trigger for most of us. Didn't that kind of thing die out not long after the 90's arrived? What was it replaced by? Maybe that should have been my question for this episode. Anyway - expect a nice gathering of input from friends and fans and long/medium/short term listeners, with light shed on various topics from music to film to Twitch to everything besides. Just don't ask when we can expect more music. Deal? Deal. Enjoy episode 501, the denim edition.

Trees campaign. I get sent a lot of potential sponsors by the wonderful people A cast and there's

0:10.0

not a campaign I've said yes to quicker than this. I've spoken before numerous times on the

importance of planting trees. Trees are one of our best defenses against climate change, so

0:22.3

that's why the Woodland Trust have made it their mission to plant 50 million more trees

by 2030. But even that aside, just our woodland is so important, like one of my favourite things,

0:36.2

again I talk about it a lot on on on my streams more than on the podcast I guess, but my dog

0:41.4

thinly taking him for a walk in the woods in the trees is one of my favourite things and if we

0:47.0

want to keep doing that we need to plant more trees. If we want to go apple picking we need to

0:51.3

plant more trees. If we want to enjoy park runs without our trainers melting we need to plant more

0:58.0

trees. If we enjoy not having to fish our possessions out of the floods that have destroyed our

1:04.4

homes we need to plant more trees. So help the Woodland Trust Plant More trees protect us all

1:49.3

cool as well. So thank you all for doing that. I hope you'll enjoy it all. And one of the things

1:54.6

that we realised me in body piece when recording that episode was that we've not I've not done an
