Hello, WineAppers. My name is Jesse Meakum with another episode of the WineApp podcast

where we teach you four rules to help you stop an impetuous paycheck, get out of debt,

So here we go. Danny says WineApp with the wifey. I've been using WineApp since 2018. You

guys helped us dig out of a serious whole of debt. Thank you. Danny, that is awesome. I do

not get tired of hearing that. I'm the main WineApper in the family. My wife is pretty passive

with the budget and usually issues are dealt with after the fact. I would like to start a monthly

budget meeting with her so that she's more involved. If you had a few had to have a budget meeting

in a similar situation, what would you try to focus on so you could be quick and concise?

Danny, this is exactly my situation and has been for 20 years passive, Julie, and overactive,

hyperactive, Jesse. All right. I just keep it really high level and happy. That's it.

Biggest, the big goals, big things. What do we want? Julie cares. And I don't mean to lie.

I'm not like minimizing what Julie cares about. I'm just summarizing what she cares about.

She cares about travel with the family, with the kids. She loves getting away from the house,

giving, getting out and having these travel experiences with the kids. For a while, when

we first bought her house, she did care about the furniture category, but then eventually

you do kind of finish furnishing, at least Julie does. I know some people are like, are you

ever done and then let's go to Target? That is not Julie. So she cared about that category

for a while and we would fund it, the furnishings or whatever category. And then that's totally

died. She cares about the grocery category, but only to the extent that no, she actually

doesn't because she just, she just spends. I care that we stay inside it. So I've put
