Hello, Wine Embers. My name is Jesse Meakum with another episode of the Wine Emper podcast,

0:08.8

where we teach you four rules to help you stop and pitch to paycheck, get out of debt

0:12.6

and save more money. I'm just going to dive right back into it, everyone. I don't have

0:17.8

any original topics. I will say I have made a back to school goal, and that is to play

0:23.6

more. Play. Just play. Play is the word. One of our employees here, she has a word of

0:30.6

the year, and I was thinking about that, and I thought, hey, my word of the next, I don't

0:36.6

know, a little while, is play. And I'm just playing with it, so to speak. So that's not

0:44.0

really much of an episode. I wanted to just dive back into the ass, Jesse's, because

0:47.2

I hate having a long to do list, and that's exactly what this looks like right now.

0:52.4

Okay, Anne asks, says, I use one card for all spending, and I want a small retail store,

0:58.5

so that includes purchasing inventory, the rewards go into a $5.29 program, cool. And the

1:03.0

contributions of total 15K, very cool. There's currently a positive balance of about

1:07.6

4K. My kid attends a state school, and my spouse is employed there specifically to access

1:12.3

the discounted tuition. So far, Anne, this is looking real good. I agree that it means

1:17.2

that I'm always in debt, but as with the mortgage, I'm using very low cost, and in this case,

1:21.1

my cost is my bookkeeping time, to acquire what, at least, is theoretically an asset, an

1:25.6

education. And when my sister got laid off last year, I was able to send a couple thousand

1:28.8

toward my nephew's tuition without impacting my normal budget. That's also very cool.

1:32.7

I do understand your point of view, and for what it's worth, our mortgage has been paid

1:35.4

for 18 years or so. You guys, Anne's killing it. Okay. So, but then she says, but in my

1:42.2

world, 15K ain't nothing. And I agree with that. Love it. Yeah. Do not change a thing,

1:49.9

but I'm glad you're along for the experiments. Absolutely. That wasn't even a question.
