Hello and welcome to this Centre for European Reform podcast. I'm Rosie Georgie, the CER's media

coordinator and the host of this podcast Ask the CER, where we ask you our listeners

to write in with questions you would like answered on EU policy and issues affecting Europe,

the UK and the world, and where our researchers will do their best to give their views on

those subjects. Thank you to everyone who has written in so far. We've received a good mix of

questions which will hopefully make for an interesting episode. We're going to be looking at

what the EU is doing in the way of climate action and how it's trying to minimise the

inequalities resulting from its policies, how the EU's post-pandemic recovery fund is being
