I do an occasional episode on Saturdays where I will talk about an idea that's in development or something that's really interesting to me or that I want to share with you all. This week, I'm going to be talking about how to read a book a day and why you would want to do something like that and how to pull it off.

something like this? So in 2015, I decided to just sort of go for this dream that I had had

of reading a book a day. I had heard about other, uh, thinkers who did it, most notably, um, Nam Chomsky and Susan Sontag.

And, you know, just sort of being really enlivened by this idea, oh my gosh, because I had always

wanted to read tons and tons of books that were just, I knew I would die before I read

all the books that I wanted to read.

I used to go into the library of my school at, well, the first university I went to, which was

Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I would go into the library and I would see all the books

and I would just take one off the shelf randomly. Like I would just sort of walk down I would just take one off the shelf randomly.

Like I would just sort of walk down and would just take one off the shelf and read it with the

aim of eventually randomly reading all the books in that library, even though I knew that

that was a crazy dream.
