PMQ's on the way and for possibly the very first time in my life, I feel a frisson of excitement at the prospect.

If that frisson remains in place, we will no doubt take it live shortly after 12 noon.

But do not worry. I will not deny you the pleasure of Theo time.

LBC's political editor will be here to pick over the carcass of PMQs regardless of whether we listen to it live or not.

I'm drawn to a tale that I think will resonate with almost everybody who's ever travelled by rail, a gentleman

who refused to leave the first class section of an overcrowded train on a route I know well,

and who, as a result, came to the attention of Her Majesty's Constabulary. It is another one of Her

Majesty's services, however, that will detain us first this morning because

I think in the interests of doing something different we're not going to talk about Brexit

first we are however going to talk about politics or at least politicians and I don't know

how long this conversation will continue for. That is entirely up to you.

I wonder whether the way back from this utterly heartbreaking period of division and continuing divisiveness,

which I think you can find an inoffensive way of describing.

It is still more than ever a battle between feelings and facts.

And I stress again that that's not meant to be a criticism of people who are guided by their feelings.

The most important things I have ever done in my life are a result

of being guided by my feelings. You know, I married Mrs. O'Brien because of my feelings, not because of the

facts. And I know that sounds a little bit condescending, but at this point when the people who've

guided, been guided exclusively by their own feelings, and I think mostly

of the so-called European research group, who's going to do all the European research if they

go under, hey, are now facing facts, and it's their utterly silly behaviour that has caused
