Summary

In case you weren't aware, Arsenal won quite convincingly against Aston Villa on Tuesday night. On Monday, Luke suggested they were running out of steam. But fortunately, Marcus would never be petty enough to remind him about that.

For the final time in 2025, Marcus and Luke put the Premier League under the Ramble microscope! It turns out there's still time for PUGMOL to get one more sternly-worded letter, while Ruben Amorim gets very very very honest. Plus, stunning revelations that Steve Bruce might be Marcus' bacon father.

Thank you for all your support throughout 2025! We couldn't do it without you. 2026 is going to be a belter.

Hello, everyone. Hello everybody. Good to have you with us on this wonderful Wednesday, which is of course New Year's Eve. I want to say thanks to Friend of the Ramble, Daniel Seraphini Sowley, for giving us that intro line. If you want to submit an intro line for a future episode and get an extended edition of today's show, then become a friend of the ramble on our Patreon. And starting from today, we're not even waiting for 2026. We're doing it in 2025. We're offering 15% off all annual memberships. And don't worry, there's no catch. It just doesn't last for the rest of the day. That does count for 2026. So that means bonus episodes, add free rambles and access to the Discord throughout the rest of the season, the World Cup, and the first half of next season for a little more than 40 pound. That's a great deal. It's a brilliant deal. What can you buy for 40 pound these days? Half a meal. A fruit salad in Pret.
