We hear from the leader of the DUP, Arlene Foster, and I spoke to the Labour MP, Stella Creasy, who wants to amend its constitution and liberalise its abortion laws.

And since then, pressure has been growing on Theresa May to address the situation in Northern Ireland too.

That part of the UK has some of the

strictest abortion laws in Europe. Even in case of rape and incest, a termination is not permitted.

With the change of the law in the Republic, pro-choice campaigners now say that Northern Ireland has to follow suit,

but so far, Theresa May's resisted calls to intervene, saying that it's a devolved matter.

The problem, however, is that a devolved matter. The problem,

however, is that no devolved government has existed in Northern Ireland for almost 18 months,

and it's all further complicated by the fact the government's propped up by 10 MPs from the DUP, who were the biggest party in Northern Ireland and are staunchly opposed to abortion reform.

When my colleague David Blevins spoke this week to Arlene Foster, the DUP leader, he asked her if it was time for Northern Ireland to liberalise its abortion law.
