I'm sharing with you.

I'm sharing with you today something that I think we all do, mainly subconsciously, but also sometimes

consciously. I was at a party in New York, this was years ago, but for some reason this memory just

always stands out for me when I think of an example of this. I was still working in my corporate job in the tech

sector and I had just started life coaching as a side hustle and let me tell you my friend

I was obsessed I loved it I love dipping out of work to go see my coaching

clients in the evenings I loved writing articles and creating content and attracting more

and more people to my business that was growing slowly but surely.

And I just, I loved being so in tune with what I knew was my life's work. Oh my there is nothing like it. In my life

experience speaking just from my own lens here there is nothing more powerful

more energizing, more life-giving than being connected to your work,

being connected to your purpose, being connected to the thing that just makes your heart sing. Anyway, before I get carried away on that,

I remember going to this event and I was buzzing at that time because you know stuff was taking off I was coaching I was writing and there was there is

there is something about the energy of a person who's really in sync with what they're meant to be doing. I love I love

observing people who often get started with new ventures and they feel like

themselves. There's like a magic and magnetism that surrounds them and in that moment I just felt so alive and so connected

and I was very eager to talk to people about how amazing it is to create something how amazing it is to be so deeply connected to your

purpose it's like you know you feel it and you want it for everybody right I'm

sure I was probably even a little bit preachy and annoying at times. But anyway, I went to, it was actually my

friend's work party one evening. She invited me, she also had a corporate job, and I remember I came from a coaching session so I was especially just ignited and happy and I was talking about it and I got chatting with a couple of her work colleagues and they were like, oh what do you do and I'm like oh I'm the life coach that's how I would always introduce myself even though I still had my job and I also shared too that I'm still working right now but my goal is to go all in on myself as a coach when the time's right.

And I remember there was this one guy at this party who I was just rubbing the wrong way.
