Are you ready for the revival to come? You see, revival's not hard. God in a moment can breathe on his people. God in a moment can say Lazarus come forth. God in a moment can give life again. God can do more in a moment than we can in a thousand meetings in a lifetime. No, revival is not

hard. The difficulty is us getting ready for the revival. James Packer wrote that when real

revival comes, the spirit works fast. Godliness multiplies. Christians mature, converts appear,

than three weeks, but God worked quickly and Paul left a viral church behind him. I say again,

revival is not hard. The hard thing is us getting ready for what God wants to do. I think the most

neglected work that we do is the work of preparation.

We've come in our study of the little book of Ezra to a real key in Ezra's personal life in Ezra chapter 7 and verse number 6, where the Bible says this Ezra.

Now there were many Ezra's, I'm sure, by name, but this Ezra.

Oh, may the Lord help us to be distinct people people the people known as those who seek the Lord

this Ezra went up from Babylon and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses which the Lord

God of Israel had given and the king granted him all his request according to the hand of the

Lord his God upon him has a lot of great truth in Ezra chapter 7, verse 6.

You see his name, Ezra's name means help.

He was going to be a great help to the people of God, but he could only be a help

in relation as he had allowed God to prepare him.

In fact, at the end of the verse, the Bible says that God gave him favor with the king,
