Are you being real about what it is you want to be, do, and have, and what that would really

mean to you, what that would mean to your life?

Because I hear from people every day all over the world,

people tell me what they want, right? They have these goals, these dreams, these desires.

I love hearing about desire. Desire is our life force. How else would we do anything?

How else would anything be created? How else would this world move forward? It's because

we want things. Desire is beautiful. But I want to ask you this question because some people

say, oh, I want a Grammy, right? Or I want to live in America. Or I want to go on this specific vacation, or I want to fall in love and I want

to get married, right, fill in the desire here. And then, if I ask, okay, if that happened today,

would you be ready? If that happened today right now, would this be a blessing or would this be a nightmare?

Think about it. Right? Sometimes we say these things or we have these, let's say lofty goals,

right, meaning something that we think we should want or it's the highest possible outcome,

like a Grammy, for example, and we love to sing. So we say these things. But what if you're

invited right now to perform on stage with somebody amazing? And you, so again, actually,

imagine this now. Imagine someone says, okay, incredible. Yeah, you're a performing artist. Do you want

to perform on stage with this incredible other artist tonight? Do you have music? Are you in shape to sing? Like, how's your voice?

Are you using a vocal coach? Are you ready when the luck happens? This is also the name of

Ina Garten's book, Be Ready When the Luck Happens, right? There's the old saying that

luck is what happens when preparation

meets opportunity. There's a woman who I coach once who had a very, very difficult dog. She wouldn't

stop barking this little dog. She was biting, growling, snarling. And this woman wanted to fall in love.
