Good morning my friends. It's once again time for you and I to join together

around the scriptures to get our minds alignment. The truth of God are you ready?

Let's just take a moment, take that deep breath,

get your mind clear, get yourself ready to receive the word of God. This is food for our souls. This is the sustenance of our day beyond our breakfast, beyond our food, beyond anything else we can do. This is what we need as children of God.

Let's get ourselves ready.

All right, Romans chapter 8.

We're looking at verses 22 through 25 today.

And the apostle Paul is explaining to us some of the things that are yet to come in history.

And let's just begin reading. He says, we know that the whole creation, now think about that the whole of creation. That's the earth,

that's the solar systems, that's the galaxies, that's the microbiology that you learned back in high school is all those little organisms that

live on a cellular level he says we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.

Now that's a pretty descriptive phrase.

The pains of childbirth, any woman who has had a child, can tell you what that's like.

Well, maybe they can't tell you exactly what it's like, but they can tell you that's some pretty

extreme pain, that's some groaning. So the words Paul is using here are very descriptive.

And he says in verse 23, and not only the creation,

but we ourselves who had the first fruits of the spirit grown inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption

as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

Oh, I can just feel the longing of this verse. Can't you understand

what Paul saying here? He's saying we grown inwardly wanting this life and all the pain and struggle of it to be done, and to receive fully

what Jesus has promised to us the redemption of our bodies. My friends that is what we need is to be fully

redeemed. That's where our sin problem comes from is the fact that we're not fully
