Are you lonely tonight?

Well, I went into the crates and found an interview I did with Dr. Sinata Amin a couple of years ago when we still had a country.

And she really tied the bow between physical loneliness, spiritual loneliness, and how we need one another. We need

community to come together. But she started off talking about the Surgeon General under Joe Biden,

under President Joe Biden, and how he had called an

epidemic. And I was just wondering, you know, right now we don't really have great leadership

in terms of care for our people. So I want to make sure that I put as much goodness into the world

as possible. So up next is an interview I did with Dr. Sinata Am Amen, where she really tells us how to cure loneliness.

Take a listen. I really just wanted to talk about something that is not a physical thing, but

manifests physically because we often talk about psychospercial wellness and what that means for us

as indigenous people. And so the

idea that the surgeon general of the United States, right, and he served under Barack Obama as well,

that Dr. Murty is his name, has declared that there's an epidemic. And this epidemic,

this problem is loneliness, that people have

become more lonely in the face of being more connected than ever. So there is internet, there's

cell phones, right? Like you can connect to people in so many ways. I remember

my grandparents had a phone and it was connected to the wall and it wasn't going anywhere.

If you weren't at home, you didn't catch that person or they didn't catch you.

But the idea that we can catch someone almost anywhere and yet we are so disconnected, he's saying that it's a

problem. And it's a problem that affects us in ways that you would not expect. It drives our
