I am Karen Hunter, and I've been contemplating this question.

Why is this world so freaking evil?

Why are so many people so wicked?

So I watched Wicked, right, when it finally came on streaming, on Peacock. And I was obsessed not with the singing and all of the things that

people are enjoying, but with the notion that folk could sit in a movie theater, cheer for

Elphaba, want that green, beautiful woman to fly away and then come into society and act a damn fool.

I had this conversation with Tyler Merritt on my radio show and I'm sharing it with you today.

And I want to know what you think. Take a listen.

And you are a theater guy. You're a theater guy.

So I was going to save this for the second hour, as I mentioned, because I also watched this weekend, Wicked. I refused to go see it in a movie theater, refused, primarily because it was sold out. It sold out. But I'm like, I'm not going to see people singing because that's going to piss me off too.

So I already know what triggers me.

I'm not going to be in the theater with people next to me singing because the content.

And then I'll have to go get the manager because I'm that person.

And I just, I just, I just could see, sometimes you got to avoid your own self.

You know, so I had to avoid my own self.

But I said, all right, let me see what the hype is about.

I'm not going to apologize for this.

The hype is overrated.

I will say that.

I would have loved to see, I would have loved to have seen this on Broadway.

And I love to nod to, um the nod to, what's her name?
