This is one of those afternoon walks.

Every now and then try to change it up.

I do most of my walking, my intentional fitness walking, my podcast walking in the morning.

And oftentimes, those walks are even before the sun comes up. But every now and then, just to

keep it fresh, try something different, I'll take a walk in the afternoon, which is what is happening today.

So for me, it is early afternoon, just past lunchtime.

I'm actually walking in a field where I've walked here before.

But this tends to be a really nice place to walk later in the day. It's quiet.

There's no one else around. I wouldn't feel comfortable walking here before the sun was up.

There are no street lights. There's no ambient light. It's uneven terrain so I couldn't see where I was walking.

And because it's a field and we've got some wildlife around here that tends to

move about while it's dark, I'm not sure that I would be

super comfortable walking back here before the sun is up. But in the early afternoon, it's

actually kind of nice. It's also windy. One of the places where I like to walk when the winds are

kicking up off the ocean is that wooded trail and it's buffered by trees.

And so even though the winds are moving around, I don't feel it.

And if it's a cooler day, which it is today, it doesn't feel quite as cold.

Also, you can't hear the wind in the podcast. But here in this field,

yeah, I can feel it. You can hear it, but it's still a nice place to walk. So last year, someone on the
