I just wanted some maybe some insight or advice. I just recently got engaged and lately I've been having trouble with my fiance. He's very sweet and affectionate and tells me he loves me, you know, everything you want. But the way he does it almost makes me feel sometimes like I'm a little kid like I never really feel like wanted or sexy.

And it's really hard for me sometimes to feel that way about him because of that. I feel like I'm longing for it. I brought it up a few times and try.

You sound like an extremely young woman in voice and what you're saying.

I'm sure there is no man who's going to express himself so that you feel all those things all the time in the real world. That doesn't happen.

Your expectation is totally unreasonable.

Okay.

And not that mature.

Okay. So just appreciate that he does. He is affectionate and not asked for more.

Ask for more of what you want him to make you feel loved and sexy and this and that. That's not his job.

And certainly if that is the job of the fiance, I doubt you're doing it for him. I doubt you're telling him how sexy he is all the time.

And how much you love him all the time and how wonderful and however I doubt you do that to him.

But you young women express a desire to have men feed you everything you think you need.

And not understanding that marriage is primarily about what you're going to be giving him.

And assuming you pick to good man, a good man.

You're going to have a lot that is of more depth than feeling sexy all the time.

Yeah, you're right. I've just fixated on that fact and have just let it kind of overthink in my head. And it's made me feel not a sexy, but like you're saying it's not his job to make me feel like that. I should know that.

What's he supposed to do every day? Try to think of six ways so you'll feel sexy and won't have a breakdown. Come on.
