I have a letter to the editor, a rather long letter, almost a short article,

in tomorrow's Wall Street Journal that you can actually access online now.

That's going to infuriate my

remaining few Democrat friends. In the article, I compare Trump's first days in office to Thomas

Jefferson's first days in office where he fired all the Federalists who had been appointed by John Adams,

where he pardoned all the people who had been convicted under the Sedition Act,

where he doubled the size of the country by without congressional approval,

buying the Louisiana purchase, by imposing trade restrictions,

by railing against the judiciary, very, very, very similar.

Of course, the big difference is that Jefferson never had a press conference.

Jefferson didn't even deliver a State of the Union message.

He spoke apparently with an embarrassingly high-pitched squeaky voice

and never made a speech, really.
