Before we get to our subject at hand, I want to talk to you about the three most boring hours I recently spent watching television. And that was the three,

actually three and a quarter hours, I wasted watching the special from Saturday night live.

I used to dread, you know, going to synagogue on Saturday morning and listen to the rabbi

drone on and somebody reading from the Torah,

and I would be looking at my watch the whole time, because that was three hours.

We used to go at 9 in the morning, and we finished at 12.

But boy, that was exciting compared to SNL.

I just think SNL is not funny.

It's just not funny. Certainly the three hours that we saw on

Sunday night were not funny at all. I don't think I smiled even once. I don't think I certainly

didn't laugh at any of the jokes. You know, I grew up in a very funny neighborhood. My next-door

neighbor was Jackie Mason, great comedian around the corner.
