I would have never said that like I was trying to like renounce God,

but I just, I couldn't believe the good God would let this happen.

When Samuel Warden was 14, his life tragically changed in an instant.

His family was devastated, and so was Samuel's faith.

The hurt, sadness, and anger seemed like an impossible

barrier between him and God. But when he desperately needed a father's love, he had an encounter

that changed him forever. Just a word of caution, this is a hard story, and it does include some

violence. Here's Samuel. I grew up in a Christian home in Arkansas,

and my family was a happy-go-lucky family. My dad was a huge comic. He's just a funny studio meet.

My mom is beautiful. She's wonderful. My sister, my brother, amazing. And on July 22nd, 2007,

right after a church service, my dad and I wanted to go get her hair cut.
