So my name is Sally Tuxhorn, and I am Ron Seedentop's daughter.

Today I will be sharing my father's testimony, sharing scripture from the book of Ephesion and the power of prayer. My dad was 85 years old

when he passed away on October 19, 23. He grew up in a family that went to church and knew God,

but at one point in my dad's life, he made the decision not to follow Jesus. I don't know if he'd ever truly given his life to Christ in his early childhood years, but I do know God's hand was always in my dad's life.

Scripture tells us that nothing can separate us from God's love, and it's God's grace that goes before us.

So my dad, a little bit about his life.

He was an entrepreneur by heart. He was in the real estate business. He was a landlord.

But his blue collar job was he worked for the Illinois State Transportation System here. So

the second best decision that my dad ever made was

marrying my mom. He asked her out on a date and then another date and another date. And soon my

dad asked my mom to marry him and my mom said yes. They loved each other deeply, but one thing was

missing from my dad.

That was his relationship with God.

And this began my mom's spiritual prayer journey for my dad.

She stood in the gap for my dad through all those years.

My mom desperately wanted my dad to come to know Jesus because she wanted my dad to experience

God's love in his life and to receive, you know, to receive God's salvation and for him to

be his personal Savior.

My father and mother were married for 53 years before she passed away, and that is how many years my mom prayed for my dad. Why was she

praying for him? Because my mom really, truly wanted my dad to know who God was. My dad had a lot of
